The sample continues with chapter 7... I am only two chapters away from unveiling my whole book. I will try to stay strong on my promise and not put chapter 9. I am waiting for those comments. I put a lot of work in the novel so I want a grade from the public. Chapter 9 happens to be the best chapter so you might want to put the comments. Chapter 7 will start now.
Chapter
7
As soon as they stepped into their death, they
all got the chill run down their back. This area was fresh. It had a soothing
scent. Not what you would expect from a haunted house. As they walked into the
lawn more, they smelled death. It was the faintest bit but cut through the
minted air like a just sharpened knife. They were getting close.
“If I get through this I am personally going to
tell Mrs. Roxwell how brave she is.” Jake was terrified by this place. Jake was
not the kind of person who liked to compliment on people. If he complimented on
Mrs. Roxwell well, that was a historic moment. Too bad they wouldn’t live to
see it become one.
“Everyone, you have a mind transmitter on your
cellphone. If you think it, we all can hear it so no need to talk. And yes
Cindy, I did eat raw onion before I got here. It was an experiment.” Cindy
blushed. She was always teasing Max but she never wanted him to hear it.
Everyone could feel the other persons’ fear as
they walked on thanks to Max’s technology.
Soon, everyone appeared at the front doors of
the mansion. Max had already sent his last message to them. (Last chance to
back out.) They all replied with a big NO! Max was so glad he had
friends like these. Willing to risk their lives for him. Max had only heard of
these in movies and books. “Treasure” is what Christina, Jake, and Cindy were.
You didn’t find these kinds of people every day. Max had turned off his thought
connecter so his friends wouldn’t hear him. He needed to be a strong leader.
“This is it guys,” Max announced and they stepped
into the house to meet their death.
