Welcome

Technology is the key to the future. It helps a lot in every day lives. It will help in upcoming jobs that need to be done whether it’s about an asteroid about to hit Earth, or a simple janitor job. Whether you like it or not, it’s slowly taking over the world. You should get used to technology. It will help you in the future.

I’m here to talk about technology. I’ll be talking about different tech related things. Sometimes I might write about new technology in the world, like an iPad 2 or maybe even about a new robot. Some days I might write about the maker of the tech, like Steve Jobs (Apples owner), or I might write about the company of the tech like Apple, Microsoft, Sony. And possibly you might hear from me about a good websites accomplishment like Google's, Facebook's, or Yahoo's.

I’ll try to post something every week, possibly sooner and if I don’t, I’m sorry.

So get ready for the future, or you won’t survive

How-To: Make a Campfire

The world is advancing. As it does advance, people forget old ways. Technology is good, but people should know how to do things without technology, just in case. People now bring a grill or a portable stove to cook food and marshmallows. Today, I am going to bring back and tell the world how to build a campfire. Before the world forgets it, I will store it on my blog. This will be step-to-step instructions on how to make a campfire.
Before you start making a campfire, there are materials you will have to collect. Some of these, though, are items that can easily be found. They are literally items straight from the wild. The items that are from the wild are dry wood and stones (15-25). If it recently rained, you might want to buy dry wood from a store before you go. Also buy fire oil (two gallons should be enough, but you should talk to a professional at the store because you might need more depending on how long you stay at camp). This will be needed to keep the fire going. Don't forget to get matches to light the fire and the water to take it out. You are now ready to start making the fire.
Steps-

  1. Start laying the stones in a circle 10 feet away from your tent and supplies. Make sure it is ten feet away or more. If it isn't, it might be a safety hazard. The stones are also to keep you safe. They keep the fire contained.
  2. Lay the dry wood in the circle of stones. Keep the wood close together. If you can, draw a star like this: * with the wood. At the center of your wood pile is where you will make the heart of the fire. The fire will evenly spread to the corners of the wood from there.
  3. Add oil to the wood. Make sure you get all parts of the woods in the circle. Also, make sure no oil gets out of the circle or this may turn into a safety hazard. The oil will be necessary so the fire has something to catch on. After that, the fire will burn because of the wood.
  4. Light one of the matches and drop it to the center of the star you made out of wood. It might take several tries to get the fire going but it will eventually. If the fire looks weak, add oil on top of it to make it bigger. Don't make the fire too big.
That's it then. The campfire is pretty much complete. Make sure you don't go to near it or you might burn yourself. Also, remember to kill the fire (put out) when you are going to sleep. You don't want the fire going on at night with no one watching it. Good luck with your campfire and have a happy camping trip!

How-To: Play Rock, Paper, Scissors

Hello world! This week, I will blog about a common game that people play. You have probably heard of the  game, "rock, paper, scissors". This is one of the most convenient games for it can be played anywhere. If anyone is behind in time, don't worry. This blog post will be a step to step instruction for how to play this game.  It will be complete with materials, rules, and advice. Hope you use this instruction blog post.
Rock, paper, scissors is a game that requires a minimum resources. You literally need only yourself and a person to play with. Make sure the person has fingers and hands because you need fingers and hands to play the game. These are things that every human is born with. In fact, even some animals can play this game. Once you have the materials (which you should have with you everywhere), you are ready to play.
Steps:

  1. Start by standing in front of the partner you are playing with. Make sure you and your partner are facing each other. Stand two feet apart. Make one of your hands into a fist. This will be the position you start the game in.
  2. Bring your hand up to chest level. While keeping your hand in a fist, put it 5 inches in front of your chest. Make sure your partner is doing the same thing as you. Right now, your hand is in "rock" position.
  3. Start shaking your hand up and down in front of your chest. Make sure you and your partner are doing this movement simultaneously. While doing this, you and your partner start saying "rock, paper, scissors, SHOOT!"  simultaneously. When you say shoot, make your hand into rock, paper, or scissor. You know how rock looks. Paper is your hand when it is open and you can see your palm. Scissors is when your hand is in a fist except for your pointer finger and your middle finger.
  4. Now the rules. Rock beats scissors. Scissors beat paper. Paper beats rock. The winner will be decided by the rules listed above. Play this as much as you want. Repeat as much as you like.
This game should turn out to be fun if you are playing it right. A lot of great advice can be found at http://www.11points.com/Games/11_Secrets_For_Winning_At_Rock_Paper_Scissors
I hope all late comers on the game find this instructions blog post effective. Have a good time playing this new (actually it is really old) game.

Being Strong with Chapter 8

This is the last chapter you will hear about until the comments. Chapter 8 will be the holding chapter before the votes. For all the new beings on this blog, go down a few blogposts for the start of the book. You want to know what is happening from the beginning. The final chapter on this blog for a while starts now.

Chapter 8

   “What!?”
   “No freakin way!”
   “What the hell?!”
   “This is not true!”
   “She has used the scontanium!”
“THE WHAT!” Jake, Christina, and Cindy said together.
“Scontanium. It’s a type of source, a power to remodel your house or room into anything you choose to look like. It’s just an image. It’s not real. I use this in my room all the time to avoid having to do cleaning.”
What Mrs. Roxwell’s house of freaks looked like was nothing like the outside. Imagine the best house you have ever seen and multiply that by six. Mrs. Roxwell’s house was better than that.
When everyone heard this their first thought was: IT’S A TRAP! Their voices boomed so loud over the head set that they had second thoughts.
“Is it conference time already?” came a sudden churn that startled Cindy. Jake got ready to fight. Christina got ready to run. Only Max stayed calm and replied, “Hello Mrs. Roxwell,” without looking back
“So it’s you four. Well if you’re here to ask for me not to tell your parents, well I can only say that if you give me an apple each day we might be able to work something out like the British and the Americans. George Washington, though, had no taste of clothes.”
“No, I... We just want to look around your house. We always wondered what a teacher’s life is like away from school,” answered Max with no hesitation.
“And while we are talking about George Washington, what did I get on the test?” asked Christina curiously. As soon as she got “the glare” from Mrs. Roxwell, she knew it wasn’t a good question.
Without asking, Max started going around the house. Everyone followed. They each put on their mind communicator.
Everyone was holding in their fear. Who knew what was beyond the doors of the house. Their first step into the house had been nothing close to the fear they were thinking right now. Little did they know what would happen if they stepped into the room of the vase.

Chapter 7, Almost to End...

The sample continues with chapter 7... I am only two chapters away from unveiling my whole book. I will try to stay strong on my promise and not put chapter 9. I am waiting for those comments. I put a lot of work in the novel so I want a grade from the public. Chapter 9 happens to be the best chapter so you might want to put the  comments. Chapter 7 will start now.

Chapter 7

As soon as they stepped into their death, they all got the chill run down their back. This area was fresh. It had a soothing scent. Not what you would expect from a haunted house. As they walked into the lawn more, they smelled death. It was the faintest bit but cut through the minted air like a just sharpened knife. They were getting close.
“If I get through this I am personally going to tell Mrs. Roxwell how brave she is.” Jake was terrified by this place. Jake was not the kind of person who liked to compliment on people. If he complimented on Mrs. Roxwell well, that was a historic moment. Too bad they wouldn’t live to see it become one.
“Everyone, you have a mind transmitter on your cellphone. If you think it, we all can hear it so no need to talk. And yes Cindy, I did eat raw onion before I got here. It was an experiment.” Cindy blushed. She was always teasing Max but she never wanted him to hear it.
Everyone could feel the other persons’ fear as they walked on thanks to Max’s technology.
Soon, everyone appeared at the front doors of the mansion. Max had already sent his last message to them. (Last chance to back out.) They all replied with a big NO! Max was so glad he had friends like these. Willing to risk their lives for him. Max had only heard of these in movies and books. “Treasure” is what Christina, Jake, and Cindy were. You didn’t find these kinds of people every day. Max had turned off his thought connecter so his friends wouldn’t hear him. He needed to be a strong leader.
“This is it guys,” Max announced and they stepped into the house to meet their death.

An Apprentice Blogpost

I am still waiting for the comments on the book so here is an apprentice blogpost.

The Streak of Chapters Continue with 6

Ten minutes later I am posting chapter 6. This is going to be last week all over again. I will stand strong about my promise, though, and not post the last chapter before a comment on each post. You will be left hanging. After reading this post, share a scale from one to ten at minimum. Don't ruin it for everyone by not commenting. Please grade my hard work. For now, chapter 6:

Chapter 6

Max got out his old, broken up, disgrace of a bike. His parents had told him he didn’t need a bike. This was because they hadn’t seen it. If they did they would faint.
Well, Max was now a genius. He quickly rearranged his bike parts and added some extra pieces. Now his bike was powered by his cellphone. It was basically the world’s most eco-friendly motorcycle. His cellphone was more of a key. But it supplied power.
Max got there in 5 seconds. he setup his stuff. A few minutes later everyone got there.
“O.K. So before we begin, I’d like to show you my cellphone.” Max showed everyone his cellphone. They were all amazed. When Max explained he made it, they were jealous. “Back to matters, I... We have to go to Mrs. Roxwell’s house. Tonight. There is something suspicious about her house that we have to check out. You all have to come. Please, I cannot do this myself. I feel like her house is calling to me. It’s like an old battle between us that we need to end. So are you in?”
Everyone was confused. They were trying to comprehend what was happening. Then suddenly, Max’s voice comes inside their heads and unscrambles their thoughts. They all understand what he is feeling. They all see what he sees.
Jake finally breaks the silence and says” I don’t know about any of them but I am coming. You guys... Sorry, girls stay here and worry about your nails while we go suicide.
“WE ARE COMING!! WE ARE NOT BABIES!” say Cindy and Christina at the same time, about to blow.
Jake had always had this special ability. He always knew how to get on people nerves and trick them into doing what he wants. Jake was the kind of guy that Max liked having at his side. Jake was a loyal friend. Max could have easily hypnotized Cindy and Christina into coming. But he knew that Jake would do it. It was like Jake also had a ability. Only, Jake’s ability wasn’t magical. Max made a mental note to reward Jake later.
Max had step 2 of his plan complete. Now to get to Mrs. Roxwell’s house and get in. Max quickly ran a scan on his cellphone to find Mrs. Roxwell’s house. He quickly found it as the oldest house in his area. He ordered everyone to get on his bike which he had added extra seats to. He plugged in his cellphone and put the coordinates for Mrs. Roxwell’s house. They would be there faster than a cheetah who is hungry and spotted it’s first prey.
Everyone was creeped out by the look of Mrs. Roxwell’s house. It was ten haunted mansions in one. It looked so scary, everyone thought that there were ghosts coming out.
Max felt a chill run down his spine. His mind was trying to break through a wall that was blocking a memory. Max remembered this place, and he also didn’t. He was having a mind rearrangement.
“I can see why Mrs. Roxwell is grumpy all the time,” remarked Jake.
“I’ve heard that living in a dark place is bad for older citizen’s chi. Well actually, in this case it’s Mrs. Roxwell’s chi,” Cindy pointed out.
“Guys, shut up!” scolded Christina. “Can’t you see that Max is on the floor? Max, what happened. What’s happening?”
Max couldn’t speak. Max felt like he had no energy left. His mind had taken over. This place was a dark place. And not just the light. This place was full of evil forces. Max’s mind was way sharper than any of them. His senses were sharper. Max knew this would happen to them later. This aurora made your most secret, desperate thoughts come to you.
“I-I-I-I am only s-saying this once. You guys can back out now. There are some evil forces here. I am not sure how they will affect you. If you guys choose to back out now, you will have a life. If you don’t, you might not make it back. I suggest you back out now.”
Jake, Cindy, Christina all saw the fear in Max’s eyes. They saw that he was wanting them to stay but wasn’t forcing them. They all knew he could force them to go but he wasn’t. They all had a choice. All unsure of what to do. Each of them waiting for the others response.
Jake was the first to reply saying, “I am coming you bastard.”
   Christina says the same.
   “I am leaving,” Cindy answers.
   “What the hell. Seriously?”
“No way! You think I would leave the group behind?” Cindy challenged. No one dared to reply.
“Each of you take a part of my cellphone. It has special features that will help because I won’t always be there.”
As Max, Christina, Jake, and Cindy stepped into the property of the great mansion, they said their last goodbyes. If they didn’t step out, they knew they ended their life together. They had each left one piece of recording for their family. The last evidence...

A Week Later... Chapter 5

I didn't write out the novel during the hour when I posted nearly half my novel. So now I am continuing a week later. Chapter 5 is going to stop the suspense that has been going on for a week. I need readers to comment because I want to know how to make this blog better. Keep on reading. Chapter 5:

Chapter 5

Max turned on his recycled creation, a masterpiece in the world of science. Years beyond right now technology. It was as creative as the Mona Lisa with different outfits.
Max’s new cellphone ran really smoothly. It was faster than Sonic the Hedgehog on ground. max quickly put in the settings and made his first call. Cindy picked up.
“Hey Jake!” Cindy said unexpectedly. Max also had this feature to show the number of someone else’s phone in caller I.D. Max new Cindy would immediately pick up for Jake.
   “It’s Max,” replied Max calmly.
“Why do you have Jake’s phone?” questioned Cindy.
“Never mind that. I need you to meet me at the rounder in 5 minutes.” The rounder was their secret house. No one knew about it.
“Sure, I’ll sneak out,” replied Cindy. She knew not to ask why because whenever Max called a meeting, it was mandatory to be there. The last time she wasn’t there, bad stuff happened.
After Cindy, Max called up Jake and Christina. They had the same response. Max had not really asked them but he had kind of ordered them to show up.
Best be there early, Max thought. I should get setup to tell them my plan. I’ll need a lot of convincing to get them to do what I have in mind.
