Max got out his old, broken up, disgrace of a bike. His parents had told him he didn’t need a bike. This was because they hadn’t seen it. If they did they would faint.
Well, Max was now a genius. He quickly rearranged his bike parts and added some extra pieces. Now his bike was powered by his cellphone. It was basically the world’s most eco-friendly motorcycle. His cellphone was more of a key. But it supplied power.
Max got there in 5 seconds. he setup his stuff. A few minutes later everyone got there.
“O.K. So before we begin, I’d like to show you my cellphone.” Max showed everyone his cellphone. They were all amazed. When Max explained he made it, they were jealous. “Back to matters, I... We have to go to Mrs. Roxwell’s house. Tonight. There is something suspicious about her house that we have to check out. You all have to come. Please, I cannot do this myself. I feel like her house is calling to me. It’s like an old battle between us that we need to end. So are you in?”
Everyone was confused. They were trying to comprehend what was happening. Then suddenly, Max’s voice comes inside their heads and unscrambles their thoughts. They all understand what he is feeling. They all see what he sees.
Jake finally breaks the silence and says” I don’t know about any of them but I am coming. You guys... Sorry, girls stay here and worry about your nails while we go suicide.
“WE ARE COMING!! WE ARE NOT BABIES!” say Cindy and Christina at the same time, about to blow.
Jake had always had this special ability. He always knew how to get on people nerves and trick them into doing what he wants. Jake was the kind of guy that Max liked having at his side. Jake was a loyal friend. Max could have easily hypnotized Cindy and Christina into coming. But he knew that Jake would do it. It was like Jake also had a ability. Only, Jake’s ability wasn’t magical. Max made a mental note to reward Jake later.
Max had step 2 of his plan complete. Now to get to Mrs. Roxwell’s house and get in. Max quickly ran a scan on his cellphone to find Mrs. Roxwell’s house. He quickly found it as the oldest house in his area. He ordered everyone to get on his bike which he had added extra seats to. He plugged in his cellphone and put the coordinates for Mrs. Roxwell’s house. They would be there faster than a cheetah who is hungry and spotted it’s first prey.
Everyone was creeped out by the look of Mrs. Roxwell’s house. It was ten haunted mansions in one. It looked so scary, everyone thought that there were ghosts coming out.
Max felt a chill run down his spine. His mind was trying to break through a wall that was blocking a memory. Max remembered this place, and he also didn’t. He was having a mind rearrangement.
“I can see why Mrs. Roxwell is grumpy all the time,” remarked Jake.
“I’ve heard that living in a dark place is bad for older citizen’s chi. Well actually, in this case it’s Mrs. Roxwell’s chi,” Cindy pointed out.
“Guys, shut up!” scolded Christina. “Can’t you see that Max is on the floor? Max, what happened. What’s happening?”
Max couldn’t speak. Max felt like he had no energy left. His mind had taken over. This place was a dark place. And not just the light. This place was full of evil forces. Max’s mind was way sharper than any of them. His senses were sharper. Max knew this would happen to them later. This aurora made your most secret, desperate thoughts come to you.
“I-I-I-I am only s-saying this once. You guys can back out now. There are some evil forces here. I am not sure how they will affect you. If you guys choose to back out now, you will have a life. If you don’t, you might not make it back. I suggest you back out now.”
Jake, Cindy, Christina all saw the fear in Max’s eyes. They saw that he was wanting them to stay but wasn’t forcing them. They all knew he could force them to go but he wasn’t. They all had a choice. All unsure of what to do. Each of them waiting for the others response.
Jake was the first to reply saying, “I am coming you bastard.”
Christina says the same.
“I am leaving,” Cindy answers.
“What the hell. Seriously?”
“No way! You think I would leave the group behind?” Cindy challenged. No one dared to reply.
“Each of you take a part of my cellphone. It has special features that will help because I won’t always be there.”
As Max, Christina, Jake, and Cindy stepped into the property of the great mansion, they said their last goodbyes. If they didn’t step out, they knew they ended their life together. They had each left one piece of recording for their family. The last evidence...
