Welcome

Technology is the key to the future. It helps a lot in every day lives. It will help in upcoming jobs that need to be done whether it’s about an asteroid about to hit Earth, or a simple janitor job. Whether you like it or not, it’s slowly taking over the world. You should get used to technology. It will help you in the future.

I’m here to talk about technology. I’ll be talking about different tech related things. Sometimes I might write about new technology in the world, like an iPad 2 or maybe even about a new robot. Some days I might write about the maker of the tech, like Steve Jobs (Apples owner), or I might write about the company of the tech like Apple, Microsoft, Sony. And possibly you might hear from me about a good websites accomplishment like Google's, Facebook's, or Yahoo's.

I’ll try to post something every week, possibly sooner and if I don’t, I’m sorry.

So get ready for the future, or you won’t survive

Presentation Softwares

Hey guys! This is another one of my normal blog posts. I am sorry that I have not been posting any of my normal, technology related posts. This week I am making a blog post about different presentation softwares. Microsoft Office Powerpoint isn't the only presentation software in the world. Personally I find it to be my favorite because it has a lot of features but you have to know how to use them. That is why I am going to blog about Powerpoint and other presentation softwares that are easier to use. I hope you find this helpful...
So, let me start with asking you, what is the first presentation software that comes to your mind when I ask you to name one. If you own Microsoft Office Powerpoint, that is probably what you will say so I will start by explaining that. Powerpoint is a software owned by Microsoft. They have a whole family of these softwares including Microsoft Word. Powerpoint is good for fascinating people until their mouths drop. If you don't have Microsoft Office and you want to download it, here is the URL: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try/try-office-2010-FX101868838.aspx?WT%2Emc_id=mscom_enus_bnr_tryq1%2CMSCOM_EN_US_SEARCH_EDITORSCHOICE_123GMUS014509   If you think it costs to much, here is a URL for where you can use most of Microsoft Office products online for free:  skydrive.live.com     Now, remember that Powerpoint might be a little complicated. That is why there are other alternatives. One great and famous one is Google Docs. To get to that you would go to Google and at the top you should click "Docs". Then you would press create and pick presentation. Even though Google Docs doesn't have all the features of Powerpoint, it is a great alternative. The last one I am going to tell you is Prezi which can be found at:  http://prezi.com/    Prezi is another great alternative that is very easy to use. Also, it is a very creative software that can be used. I suggest you try all of these and pick which one you like best. And remember, these are only a few that are good. I hope these are useful. Thank you for being a follower of Technology Discussions.
